Margaret Napolitano,
M.D., F.A.C.S

Dr. Margaret Napolitano graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed a general surgery residency at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She then completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Florida followed by a hand and microsurgery fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery, Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky.  The following year, she became a member of the Internationally renowned team of surgeons at the Kleinert Institute.  She is a member of numerous medical societies and is certified in Advanced Burn Life Support. Dr. Napolitano is active in teaching at the Kleinert Institute where expertise in orthopedic, plastic, and general surgery are combined and Hand Fellows from over 50 countries are taught. The Institute at Jewish Hospital is the first in the United States to open a Hand Care Center, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, complete with an emergency room, operating suites, and an overnight recovery center to provide immediate and emergency care for patients with specific upper extremity injuries including burns.
