Jeffery Garza,
Jeffrey Garza,
CRT
has
served a
distinguished military career with four years as a Combat Medic most
recently in Panama. He has been heavily involved in ICU burn patient care
as a senior member of the Respiratory Department at the United States Army
Institute of Surgical Research. He is a senior
Flight Respiratory Therapist for burned and critical patients. His
assignments have included the 21ST Combat Support Hospital. He trained
and guided Respiratory Therapists on field ventilators and was the Army
Intelligence NCO in-charge for 6 years. He is a member of the National
Board of Respiratory Care. In June of 2001, he returned to the USAISR
burn team. His certifications include BCLS,
Acls, Nals and Pals.
He is a member of the Burn Special Medical Augmentation ResponseTeam
(SMART).
